Our Programs
Our at-home learning programs are broken up into weekly lessons. Each week consists of four lessons, which begin with an explicit instructional video and are followed by supporting activities to develop the introduced skills. The fifth lesson contains an enjoyable storybook lesson, with a focus on comprehension and vocabulary.
All courses include 12 months of access from the date of purchase.
About the Science of Reading Approach
Reading is one of the most essential life skills. It allows us to learn, communicate, and engage with the world. Decades of research show that systematic, synthetic phonics is the most effective way to teach reading—far more effective than the whole language approach.
I'm a qualified K–6 teacher and have been teaching since 2003, with the past 12 years focused on helping children learn to read. Through exploring several evidence-based phonics programs, I’ve seen outstanding results.
This course is designed to provide high-quality reading instruction for home-schooled children. It covers all key areas of English: oral language, vocabulary, phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, handwriting, spelling, and writing. The storybook component of this program helps children engage with and respond to literature.
My passion is to see children grow into confident, independent readers and lifelong learners. I hope this program blesses your child’s learning journey.
